N. Korea's hunger and guns

North Korea says it is facing its worst drought in a century, sparking fears of worsening food shortages.
State news agency KCNA said main rice-growing provinces had been badly affected and more than 30% of rice paddies were "parching up".
North Korea seems better than most at exemplifying the original meaning of the acronym "snafu:" "situation normal -- all fucked up."

The cinematic roles portrayed in HBO's two WW2 mini-seris are probably Genkaku's age if still alive. They i.e. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are still making a new one about Memphis Belle or Mighty Eighth since 2014; yet in the context of coming changes, just last evening was watching somebody player a Call of Duty Advanced Warfare new first person war game, somebody comments approximately that he felt that all that technology and advancement depicted in the game - which started off by having North Korea invade the South over a four-hour barrage of drones and high-tech troopers - anyways the youths that will be part of the next wars find the modernised wars too luxurious for their comfort. I imagined that either they wanted to re-enact the trenches of WW1 or they rather fought with all their cities dismantled like Stalingrad in WW2. The sort of sentient aspirations and wishes that come with civilisation is at times sheer peculiar or inconceivable.
