AP phone records

How many examples does the electorate need before it recognizes the dictatorial eyewash their government is dispensing with its Department of Homeland Security and its "terrorism" and its other constricting devices? You don't have to be a Tea Party nitwit or a conspiracy nut or an Idaho militant crouched in some well-armed bunker to feel the tentacles reaching, probing, grasping ... and throttling the democracy out of "democracy."

How long before the apathetic "well, it doesn't affect me, so fuck it" just won't wash?
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news....
The government would not say why it sought the records.
