The Chinese New Year -- the Year of the Dragon, my year -- does not begin until Jan 23. I like the idea of being a dragon, so wise and powerful and prickly and full of magic in my mind.
But by western astrological computations, I am a fish. I like the idea of being a fish, so slippery and swift and lively in an element I like, water.
But it is like a delicious fairy tale -- finding meaning and insisting on meaning, finding explanation and ensconcing this life in explanation.
A pretty fishy dragon, I'd say. :)
