Donna, my nearby neighbor, came over to try out zazen today. It had been a while since I gave anyone formal instruction, so, in one sense, it was easy, but in another sense I kept being afraid I was forgetting something.
How refreshing it is to be around someone who is just dipping their toe in the spiritual endeavor pool ... fresh and clean and peppy.
It was a nice little blessing, having a visitor.
